I was lucky to be interviewed last week by the lovely Jacob, now it's my turn to interview one of my favorite Buzzneters!
It's safe to say that Ms. Jenny Dang was my first ever friend on this website. She was friendly and loved music, we talked about the boys in This Century and our love for The Maine. Our shared love of music and Buzznet brought us to sending music mixes to each other, and continued conversation over various forms of social media. Jenny embodies what Buzznet is about, people being enthusastic about music and wanting to share that enthusiasm with others by creating original content, posting music updates, and getting to know other users. Without further ado, let's get to know talented Buzzmaker Jenny!
E is for Effervescent / Happy 2 Year Anniversary!
How old are you?
18 going onto 19 at the end of the month.
Where do you live?
The wonderful city of Pittsburgh, PA. It was voted the most livable and smartest city in the US!
How did you hear about Buzznet?
A cold, winter night in December of ’08, I came across The Maine’s blog promoting their holiday EP …And A Happy New Year. Look at how young they look in the picture! I just realized that today is the five year anniversary of Can't Stop Won't Stop!

What keeps you here on Buzznet?
I stay on Buzznet because of all the people I have met on here. Its pretty cool to know someone halfway around the world who shares your love for a particular band, movie, or food. As someone who wants to travel the world, I love seeing everyone’s photos of the beautiful places they call home that I only dream of seeing. Whether they are in the United States or in other parts of the world, I’m happy to say I have made great friends through Buzznet. Also, a big shout out to Raven for doing this interview with me. I’ll be meeting her at the end of this month!
What do you want to see more of on Buzznet?
I would love to see more photo projects. I remember a girl did a stop motion collaboration a few years ago, but I didn’t get the chance to be a part of it. It looked like so much fun!
Favorite group on Buzznet? Why is it your favorite?
Question of the Day and the Pony Express. I’m not sure if the Pony Express is still around, but you were given a random person to send snail mail to. This then led me to start sending letters, mix CDs, and birthday/christmas cards with my friends on here.
Cats or dogs?
Dogs, for sure. I have always dreamed of walking downstairs to a puppy with a big bow under the Christmas tree. Needless to say, that hasn’t come true…yet.
Since you love taking photos, what's your favorite thing to photograph?
I love taking photos of my little brother. When I joined Buzznet, he was about a year old so its bittersweet to watch him grow up. I also enjoy taking photos of bands as much as I love being in the crowd dancing and singing along.
Have you learned anything on Buzznet that you might not have learned if you weren't here?
I have learned a lot about photography. When I first got my camera, I just kinda pointed it at something and shot. I had no idea what I was doing. With some advice and encouragement from the Buzznet community, I have improved and continue to learn each day.

Any final thoughts for us about Buzznet?
Lastly, I want to say thank you. I have discovered great bands and met some sweet people on here and in person. I love my Buzznet family and can only hope that it will continue to grow.
Day 260: Friends All Over the World
Thank you so much to Buzznet and of course, Jenny for letting me interview her! Check out her page and follow her on Twitter and Instagram, you won't regret it.
Peace out, Buzznet!
